Suggested Brewing

step 1. Heat water to a boil.

step 2. Use 1 heaping teaspoon of Black Shuck leaves per 8 ounces of water.

step 3. Pour water over tea leaves and let steep for 2-3 minutes.  

step 4. Immediately strain leaves from liquid.

step 5. Enjoy your Black Shuck…if you dare.

-To make more tea out of your used tea leaves, repeat steps 3 through 5. Only re-use leaves this way in the same sitting.

-Start with the above, and then experiment to find what you like best! More tea leaves and/or longer steep times will make the taste and aroma stronger. Try 2 or 2 1/2 tsp per 8 oz if you wanna get wild.

-Try me hot or iced

-If you like your tea sweet, try it with honey, raw sugar, or agave nectar.

-I won’t tell anyone if you throw a spot of milk in there too.
